But, uppercase is easier for younger kids. Letter ID and sound is most important rather than upper versus lower when they are small. There is nothing wrong with her focusing on one or the other or both, she needs to learn them all regardless. Do you have alphabet posters on your walls? Get one that has both letters togther. Honestly, I think it's more important to focus on letter sounds than their names anyway, since seldom do you say their names when actually reading. So if she's practicing both, she mght learn sounds faster! Do you let her watch Youtube? Lowercase letters are used more frequently in writing sentences, and that might lean in favor of learning them first, but really, to be a proficient writer you have to know them all. Any teachers with some insight?
