@Foodnerd81: I bring two toddlers to happy hour every Friday, albeit to a kid friendly bar.

@Applesandbananas: making plans with my sister and her new boyfriend this weekend and I was trying to figure out a meeting spot. All I can think of is happy hour, but I feel like bringing a toddler to happy hour is crossing a line.

People who wanted to take their kids everywhere (weddings, plays, movies, bars, parties, etc.) it never made sense to me until I had a LO in daycare all week. Now my evenings and weekends with LO are so precious, the only way I go to any of that kind of stuff is if LO is welcome too.

I always said I would never let my LO have an alternate dinner or other snacks if she did't eat her meal. I don't usually make her a separate meal but will hand her something from the fridge as an alternative. Owell!

lol, we couldn't shop alone, unless I never left our small town and once a month he got a day trip to shop (it's a four hour one way drive).
I totally said I wouldn't post pictures of her on Facebook, let her watch TV or play with the Computer. Umm... yeah, we do all those things.

What have you said that you now take back?

For me, I was always pretty careful to avoid "oh my kid will always" or "my kid would never" kind of things, but I definitely complained about seeing two parents with kid(s) misbehaving in the grocery store, and was like, why don't one of them just stay home while the other shops alone? So annoying!

Yup. We totally do Target runs all together as a family. Whoops. My bad.
