I do once in a while, usually if I'm wearing a maxi dress and it's really hot. In the beginning of the year, I dress more professionally and only wear jeans on Fridays, but as the school year goes on, I get lazy and more and more casual. However, I never wear sweats. I am always amazed at how many people wear straight up flip flops, though. It doesn't bother me at all (why should I care what other people wear on their feet?), I would just never push it that far. The software industry is funny, people on the business side (sales, marketing, etc) all dress in business/business attire.
