I loved the name Julia and had settled on it if our first baby was a girl. When we had a miscarriage, I wasn't sure if I could then use Julia again, but since I didn't know the sex of that baby, I think it's OK. I have a friend that nearly did that, but loved the name so much that instead they switched the first and middle name. So it was SAS and they just called their son by their middle name. Years ago, it was normal. My grandfather's name is Robert, but he was the second Robert, because one baby passed away before he was born.
