We were born in Israel where it is very common but lived most of our lives in the US. Depending on how diverse the community she is in, she may get a lot of questions on how to pronounce the name or it's origin and people may then think she's Jewish. I think it's different and pretty. I have a common name with multiple spellings and spell my name all the time. Simple last name and still spell it all the time. My son's name is similar to another boys name so I'm frequently correcting his name or the spelling. I don't think that's a reason to not use the name. </p>
