5:00!

I put on the TV so I can get dinner ready if they're not playing nicely.

Right now we're watching Little Mermaid and dinner is cooking in the instant lot so I'm on my phone. Mama gets to relax today!

I use it in the car. She gets other screen time too, but that's because she wants it, not because I have to do something.

P.S. Quinn LOVES the original Star Wars trilogy and The Force Awakens, so we watch snippets of them almost every evening. 😬

@Bao: ugh! This has been a struggle for me lately, especially while I've had a horrible cold for the past week. My (just turned 2) DD would be on an iPhone all day if we let her. My husband won't allow it, but I give in sometimes just so I can get something done or rest a bit. She mainly watches video of herself or uses the PBS app to watch Daniel Tiger. And, she watches Daniel Tiger on the TV for approx 30 minutes a day. I feel so much guilt for screen time. I even feel guilty about watching the Today show with her in the room each morning, but I also enjoy it. It's my wake-up time with my coffee! Anyway, I'm rambling! 😆

All of the above?
We use it for sure in the morning while I get ready. And usually in the late afternoon after nap and errands/park/play dates. I try to keep it reasonable. 2 year olds are exhausting, man.

Only for long plane/car trips. I'm sure that will change when she's older - 21 months now.

Just on the weekends for fun. They (5 & 3.5) can each pick one tv show on sat and Sunday. We watch a movie on Fridays about twice a month. LO 1 uses an iPad occasionally at school.

Do you use it to get ready in the morning? To cook dinner? To simply catch a break?

I'm pretty chill about screentime so if LO mentions they want to watch something I'll typically let them. I'll also use it if I need a break or I want them to calm down or distract them in some way.
