Mickey Mouse clubhouse! Dora. (aka tablet/my iphone)

You could try the dollar section in target for a pack of four playdohs. They're small and you could toss them afterward.

I don't know how people keep their los occupied long with stickers. I have tried it and she whips through them and that's that. The only thing that got about half an hour (and then she finished the whole book!) was this sticker activity book from a craft/fabric store that had big and small circles that you matched to their spots. There are other sticker activity books if you look on amazon though.

My lo will color too but something that stretches her attention are dot to dots, or tracing. Kumon has a tracing book for I think 2, 3, and 4 year olds that isn't too hard. My lo can't do it exactly but it's not so hard that she gets upset either.

We also had a leap frog tablet that was a gift from last xmas.

Take some play doh or a set like this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00US8C31S/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1446342449&sr=8-2&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=playdoh+travel+set&dpPl=1&dpID=51bFRyg0YvL&ref=plSrch

Pop a few little people in a pouch like this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005177VPE/ref=mp_s_a_1_9?qid=1446343199&sr=8-9&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70&keywords=zipper+pencil+case

There are some mini dolls that are like 6 inches tall. Maybe that or just a regular baby doll and a few accessories?

Maybe something to put in and take out for the baby?

If you think she would play with little people, I'd bring them.

Magnetic "paper doll" or vinyl stickers are big hits here. Regular stickers work for us too

Any chance you're flying JetBlue? TV behind every seat FTW!

You said she doesn't color but there are these water wow things at Target she may like, I think it's something about the water pen! Maybe some stickers, and the leap reader is a good one. Snacks!

I know there have been older threads but looking for some fresh ideas. We are flying in two weeks, with my 3 year old and 9 month old (who will be 10 months then  ). I think I'm going to grab a Leapfrog Tag Reader as a surprise, because I was going to get it for Christmas anyway (and actually have a few of the products put away for Christmas, so we need the tag anyway).

The things she'll play with for hours are things we can't bring - play doh, little people sets, baby dolls and accessories, etc. She won't sit and color for longer than a few minutes.

I don't even know about my little one. She gets really, really, REALLY angry if she's in her carseat when she doesn't want to be. I feel like she's going to end up on my lap even though she has a seat...sigh.

Amazon or Target links are a bonus!! :)

edit: we do not have a tablet. my parents have an ipad, but my mom is on another flight (they are going - my dad got onto our flight, as did my siblings and FSIL). maybe she'll let us borrow that if she doesn't need it.
