Thought you were talking about battery life. The unit itself I've had for 3 years, maybe more and it still works fine. It uses the regular swiffer cloths, which we replace every time we use it unless I'm just vacuuming up something small. It also has an internal filter thing that I've replaced once or twice. I honestly am not sure how long it lasts. We don't always keep it plugged in since it gets in the way of something else. But it charges pretty fast. I'd recommend keeping it plugged in when not in use if you can, and then it'll probably last without a problem. I have long hair and we have two dogs and a cat, so hair cleanup is daily for us.
