Sometimes I try a variety of dips, like baba ganoush, hummus, roasted red pepper with feta, or there's always the much-beloved guacamole!</p> <p>For the last potluck we attended, I made a potato gratin with sauteed shiitake mushrooms and shallots with Gruyere, and everyone loved it. It was really easy.</p> <p>I'm mostly into savory dishes lately for some reason, but I used to take a lot of fruit cobblers to potlucks, and always got several requests for the recipes. Cut up 4-5 apples (I usually do gala or pink lady), a package of mini snickers cut in 1/4ths, the big container of Cool Whip and a package of butterscotch pudding (just the powder mix, not made.)
