I hope I am able to follow through with breastfeeding.. no latching problems PLEASE!
Also, hope to bond with my baby sooner than I did with DD.
Its something I seriously feel horrible for but I had MAJOR baby blues for two to three weeks. I didn't even hold my DD much at the hospital. DH did EVERYTHING .. even helped me BF (because we had to use a little feeding dopler thingy to try and teach DD to latch)! I don't even have a single picture of myself with DD at the hospital.. what kind of mother doesnt!?
So once we got home DD spent a lot of time in her bouncer and swing those first few weeks :-(. I hope to not have that happen again.

I hope I have a better start to breastfeeding because I don't want to pump as much as I did on my last maternity leave!

Hopefully, with less pumping...I can spend more time enjoying my newborn and doing things around the house. I plan on keeping DD in daycare either FT or PT so I can bond with the baby.

What are some things you would do differently for your next maternity leave?
