@jessiejo17: Ditto! I spend good money on my clothes so that they look nice, fit nice, and last a long time. I don't feel bad about it!

Business casual is our dress code here, with jean Fridays (but no tennis shoes!). I'm short so I rock the heels on a daily basis. Plus, all my pants are tailored for heels. I don't want to ruin them by having the drag on the floor while wearing flats.

I work for an attorney, so we are expected to dress very professionally. Admittedly, I haven't been dressing as nice as usual because most of my close are not fitting comfortably right now! Going shopping with my MIL this weekend and at the top of the agenda are WORK clothes.

Our office is business wear. I am required to wear skirt/dress with sleeves and nylons every day. The men wear suits with white long sleeved shirts. It's very professional.

I spend a little more money on work clothes because I have found over the years, good clothes last a lot longer than cheap clothes, especially in skirts!

at our office its business casual. I always wear dress pants and sometimes a formal shirt or sometimes a more casual shirt. Since getting pregnant I mostly wear tshirts and hoodies over my dress pants. since my button up shirts no longer fit

I work from home 90% of the time, so I wear what I rolled out of bed in... right now, I have on a sleep shirt and a bathrobe. When I have video calls (I work for a videoconferencing company), I brush my hair, put on make up, wear a nice blouse, and sweat pants.

I used to dress up a lot, now I'm a the point in my career where I go for comfort. I still occasionally break out the high heels, but rarely.

Anywhere I've worked the dress code has always been business casual - so khakis or dress pants and a blouse, knit top, sweater, etc. I never wear skirts and rarely wear heels!

I'm watching The Amandas on Style. They're professional organizers and will do anything from pulling up carpet to lugging around all sorts of junk, all in pretty dresses and pumps. I understand wanting to look professional, but that's just crazy talk.

I used to buy very cheap clothes that still looked professional from Ross for work. I always worked with art supplies so I didn't want to have to worry about ruining expensive outfits, but I always looked young so I needed to dress more professional so people would respect me.

Now I'm a SAHM so I'm either in pj pants or jeans.
