@shopaholic: @charlotte: ditto all of kellymom!! Although I researched as I went along and thought it was fine. I don't like to research until I find a need for it. That's all we did between those middle of the night feedings. Two laptops in bed, researching side by side. As stressful as it was, it was also kind of fun. Like studying for finals.

I would have reached out for help/advice a lot more (no hellobee boards back then!!) and I dEFINITELY would have hired a lactation consultant, just to have peace of mind.

@cascademom: Yep. That was the worst- no milk yet, baby CONSTANTLY FEEDING, then home by ourselves with this ravenous baby and so worried my milk would never show up!

We watched happiest baby on the block after we brought her home-it was really useful and the tips would've even helpful before we saw the video. We had a few meltdowns where we didn't know how to manage but the tips helped!

I wish I knew more about sleep and naps. But then again I didn't know los sleep patterns then or her personality so I don't think it would have done me much good to research before.

As I attempt to navigate early parenthood I keep stumbling on things I wish I'd researched more while I was bored and pregnant! I read the "what advice for a FTM " threads which were great pieces of advice but I wish I'd had ideas of major categories to read about so I wouldn't have to one handed google every day :)

For me so far, I wish I'd researched:
Gas symptoms and remedies / probiotics
Baby acne vs Eczema
Proper ergo wearing videos
