It never crossed my mind that it could be disrespectful. However, now that I'm a mom, I notice it's more common for kids to use Mr./Miss first name. We've been doing Mr &amp; Miss Firstname, e.g. Mr. Mike &amp; Miss Kate, but it sounds awkward sometimes! We feel like first names are not as respectful (although we do it sometimes), and Mr &amp; Mrs. Lastname is too formal. What do you all do? </p>
