Always have your LO begin their nursing session on that side. Cup your boob above the clog and squeeze the heck out of it while nursing. It will hurt a lot. Make sure you don't have any blend on your nipple. Pump an extra time aced your LO goes to bed to make sure you are empty. Mastitis is the worst! Glad you're seeing a doctor in the morning, but in the meantime, try using a rice sock on the painful part of your boob - that was the only thing that ever gave me some relief and helped unclog the duct. The other thing was going on all fours and having DH massage the crap out of my boob to try and unclog it. If I don't get it unclogged by the end of the day, all the little marbles seem to merge together and form one hard solid plate that's super duper uber painful. Like I wanna curl up in a fetal position and cry mommy painful.</p> <p>And I always feel full because all the milk is back logged. I can feel DS pulling at the clog sometimes, but he doesn't always get it unclogged.
