@Mrs. Sunshine: Yeah my LO is 5 minutes tops for BF too. I think my LO is only a few weeks older than yours (mid-aug for us) and she is only a little over 18 lbs. We are just starting to shake the early morning feed. Half the time she still eats at 5am. I give some snacks throughout the day too, especially if we are out and about!

@delight: I'm glad you added how much you are bfing. Sometimes I wonder if we over feed her but she is still barely 18 pounds & most of her sessions take about 5 minutes. I guess we're on track....

At 9.5 months LO breastfeeds about 5 times a day (starting from 5 am...can't seem to shake that early feed yet!) Breakfast is usually a yo baby yogurt & cut up fruit. She generally has some freeze dried fruit pieces or cheerios as a morning snack (sometimes we get busy & we have no snack) Lunch is usually half an avocado & then leftovers or chopped turkey, occasionally a graham cracker as a treat. We usually have an afternoon snack of defrosted frozen peas or corn or an ella's kitchen snack bar or shredded cjeese. Dinner is just whatever we're eating.

10 months and today she had/is having
Breakfast- baby cereal, yoghurt mixed with banana
lunch - cottage cheese, blueberry/mango/pear purée, baby cookie
Dinner- veggie mix (peppers and carrots steamed and mashed), chicken & broccoli blend, blueberries, baby cookie

We do a mix of table foods and mashed/purees still. She much prefers to just feed herself so we do a lot of cut up fruit, toast with PB, eggs.

I BF 6 times a day still. Before and after 2 naps and in morning and before bed. I don't think she takes in more than 20oz though. She's very fast.

About 24 oz of formula + 3 meals a day. I feed her about 3-4oz of purées per meal (favourites are mango, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, peas, pears, apples, carrots). Oatmeal for bfast with some fruit...she also loves Greek yogurt mixed with cinnamon and some fruit

Then I let her feed herself bite sized pieces of food, usually strawberries, blueberries, bananas, toast...mainly whatever I have on hand!

LO (9.5 months) is breastfed on demand, so I don't know how much milk he drinks.

For breakfast he has oatmeal or yogurt with pieces of fruit. For lunch and dinner he has bite-sized pieces of whatever we have around. This last week he has had black beans, tomatoes, blueberries, chicken sausage, polenta, green beans, cherries, strawberries, cheese, mushrooms, etc.

Since about 8.5 months to now, 9.5 months we have started giving her pretty much what we eat for lunch...so leftovers like chicken with cous cous in a tomato sauce (today) or chili con carne (yesterday) and maybe a few cheese strips or yoghurt if she still seems hungry. Dinner is usually just a yoghurt and some fruit or a fruit/veggie puree pouch.

We did a lot of BLW from about 7-8.5mths but recently she is in a phase where she flings everything from the tray without even attempting to eat it...so that's when we switched to just giving her more of our food.

She's on formula too and has anywhere between 18-24oz per day.

I don't know what's normal, but for breakfast LO has baby oatmeal mixed with yogurt, lunch she had part of a hard boiled egg, some corn, a few strips of chicken, a sweet potato/cauliflower/apple/mango puree and 2 strawberries. Supper was more strawberries (she loves them), cheese, cucumber. She has cows milk with lunch and water with everything else. Nurses 4-5 times a day.

What part are you worried about? Sounds like he's eating and drinking?

At 9 months we were doing a mix of purees and finger foods. Any soft fruits or steamed veggies (roasted sweet potato, peas, steamed broccoli), tiny pieces of shredded meat (steak, chicken, ribs, etc), soft scrambled eggs...pretty much anything that was soft enough for him to chew with just his gums.

We did Baby Led Weaning so by 9 months DD was getting pretty well everything we eat. I cut down/eliminated salt from meals I prepared and eased up on spice. Yesterday she turned 10months.
Here's what she ate yesterday:
Breakfast
1/2 Hard boiled egg
1/2 English muffin with PB
1/2 a pear
Lunch
Leftover lasagna
Strawberries
Supper
Pork chops
New potatoes
Carrots
Peas

She gets water with each meal and nurses ~4times during the day.

M is 8.5 months old. Will eat any purees, loves Cheerios, and will eat pieces of fruit if I help him. Right now he's drinking between 28-30 oz of Neocate a day per doctor recommendations.

As a FTM I am wondering if this is normal? He can not have cheese or yogurt due to MSPI.
