1. Dress your LO in: cotton footed pjs and a halo sleep swaddle, fleece
2. Have the thermostat set at overnight: 71
3. Wear to bed yourself: tank and yoga pants
4. Have for blankets on your bed: sheet, huge fuzzy blanket and a quilt
5. And . . . how old is your LO?: 2 months!

@Rainbow Sprinkles: This was exactly my thought. She seems fine and I know I run "cold". But then her hands are chilly when she wakes up to eat. I guess I shouldn't worry about it if the rest of her is warm. It sounds like everyone has their LOs in pretty similar sleeping outfits.

Caveat...LO runs warm, and half the night he's in bed snuggled up with me, and I'm a furnace, so I don't dress him as warmly as I might otherwise.

1) A long sleeved fleece sleep sack and a diaper.
2) Right now it's set at 70, and it's probably a degree or two warmer in our bedroom.
3) Nursing tank and undies. Before I gave birth I only slept in undies, but my ladies leak too much for that now :(
4) Light cotton sheet and down duvet (only me--DH sleeps in a sleeping bag).
5) 12 weeks.

@Rainbow Sprinkles: yes, but with really warm duvets it's great. The Gro-Bag at 2.5 warmth plus pajamas has been perfect. The Gro-Bag even comes with a nursery thermometer that tells you what is the just-right temperature for the Gro-Bag and it is totally right (at 65). For example, we still have the heat up when I first put him to bed and if he does an early waking, he is really hot, but all the wakings through the night his hands are the perfect temperature. Night-wakings aren't the most fun, but they sure help with testing out sleep suit temperatures! :)

I was just thinking about this. I usually sleep in an oversized shirt and yoga capris and I have TONS of blankets on me. Like a sheet, heavy down comforter, AND a super heavy blanket on top of that. I always wonder "If I am not hot, does that mean my LO is freezing right now?"

I dress her in fleece pajamas and she sleeps on her tummy with a lightweight blanket draped over her.

We keep our house at 71.

she is 5,5 months

1. any kind of long-sleeve pajamas (socks if not footed) and sleep sack (SEE BELOW!)
2. thermostat is up a little higher than we'd tolerate normally (65)
3. I wear my nursing bra and pajama pants
4. sheet, and TWO duvets (that developed because DH is a blanket-stealer)
5. 6.5 months

If you are looking for a warmer sleep sack I recommend Gro-Bags. I have one that is 2.5 warmth and it made a big difference for not having a cold baby at midnight. If that one's in the wash, I double-bag him in 2 fleece sleepsacks.

1. cotton or fleece footed pajamas, a fleece sleep sack and an A&A blanket (ok'ed by our dr)
2. depends... we haven't had to turn the heat on much the last few weeks, and our apt stays at a consistent 68 degrees NORMALLY. However DS's room is the coolest in the house, so we often turn on the heat just at night for his sake, and its set at 68-69.
3. last night it was leggings and a tank top. I don't wear much, especially if we have the heat on.

With winter approaching (at least where I am), I've been thinking more about what I wear for bed and what I dress LO in. What do you:
1. Dress your LO in
2. Have the thermostat set at overnight
3. Wear to bed yourself
4. Have for blankets on your bed
5. And . . . how old is your LO?

Mine:
1. Cotton, long-sleeved footie pajamas and a long-sleeved fleece sleep sack
2. 67, I think
3. Tank top or oversized t-shirt
4. Sheet, electric blanket and comforter
5. 5.5 months old
