Total crap. *sigh*. And I think my laziness is mostly to blame.

Down between 730-8, up usually every 2-2.5 hrs at night, so usually 10,1230,3,5 and sometimes also 6...usually he wakes sometime between 630-7. Today it was 6. *yawn*. We co bed so I get some sleep, but I think that is also making it easy for him to wake at predictable intervals. He doesn't always eat, sometimes he just can't fall back asleep.

Naps are decent. 3 naps, anywhere from 1-2 hrs, but usually 90 min is the longest he will go. DS is 7 months.

Naps are terrible, but at night, it's usually to bed by 730 and up around 630. We are working on a later bedtime preparing to travel though..

It's crap.

Naps are ok. morning nap & afternoon nap are usually 1-2 hours each.

Nighttime is bad. Down by 8 pm. Followed by wakeup around 9 pm, I go to bed and he joins me. On a normal night he wakes around 11, 2, 5 & up by 7 am. Usually it's not too bad. I just roll him back and forth over me to switch sides to nurse and usually we only wake for a minute. Bad nights he wakes every hour & sometimes takes more work to get him back to sleep. He's 9.5 months.

@Mrs. Chen: oh yeah. wake up time is killer! My kids get up around 6:30-7 and even that's too early for me. :D

He usually takes two 2 hour naps. One in the am and one in the pm.
On occasion he'll take 3 shorter naps.

@chopsuey119: yes, i'm super thankful she's doing at least 10 hours but waking up at 5:30 is just a TISH early for me. if she can just push her wake time a little bit closer to 7 (that's the time i need to get up for work), that would be AWESOME! am i greedy? haha! her naps could improve though. she takes 30-45 minute cat naps! how is your DS's naps?

I have a crap sleeper:
DD - 14 months old
Night time sleep: Goes down at 7pm no problem. Wakes (screaming) at 11ish, 1ish and 3ish most nights. Sometimes throws her old mom a bone and just wakes up once, around 3ish.
Transitioning to one nap. Takes one 2 hour nap in the afternoon, but still sometimes sneaks in a morning snooze.

LO is 6.5 mo. Until about a month ago, she was STTN 9pm-7:30ish. Then we started solids and her sleep went to crap. Tuesday night she was up SIX times between 9pm and 12:30pm. And woke up again in the middle of the night. Last night was OK - down at 9, woke at 9:45 and rocked down, slept to 6am, nursed, slept to 8:30. I'm so hoping she'll go back to STTN. We're going to try doing solids in the mornings for the next few weeks, as it seems her tummy has been bothering her.

F is 10 months. When he's home with me he naps for about an hour at 8-9 and again at 1-2. At daycare it's more like 40min at 10 & 12 :/

Nighttime sleep is crud. Down at 7, wakes at 9or 10, 12ish, 2ish, & 4-5ish. Up for the day at 5:45 or 6. But we co-bed after midnight, so it's not too awful.

@chopsuey119: Can your DS show my DD how it's done? :) She goes to bed around 7:30pm and wakes up around 5:30am. Sometimes she will wake up in the middle of the night but can usually put herself back to sleep. If not, I'll nurse her (like last night at 4am) but that doesn't happen too often.

@hergreenapples: we try to move it back but she seems to have a mind of her own. One night last week she went down at 9, only to wake up at 9:45 and not go back down until after 12!!!! Such a nightmare. She has a nap around 4 or 4:30 until 5:30 and then naps in the stroller on a walk around 7:30 for maybe 30 mins.

@oliviaoblivia: good to know it happened on its own!!! Hoping that's the case with us too. We don't want to complain too much because she's so easy to get down at that time, no crying or fussing.

LO goes to bed between 7 and 7:30pm, wakes once to nurse at night (as early as 11pm, as late as 5:30am- every night is different, she likes to keep me on my toes!) and wakes up for the day between 6:15 and 7. Would love an uninterrupted nights sleep but I can't complain because her 1 nursing session only lasts 5-10 minutes. She is def on 2 naps now, totaling 2-3 hours a day.

@hilsy85: yeah... We had a decent stretch for awhile, but now... Every night I go to bed with this foolish, wistful hope that "maybe tonight's the night"....ha!
The good news is I think I fall into REM sleep after like 10 minutes, so most days I don't feel totally dead.

LO is almost 2.5. He typically goes to sleep around 8 and wakes up around 7. He never wakes up in the middle of the night unless we're traveling.
At daycare, he'll nap for two hours from 12:20-2:20... at home, he typically naps for at least 2 hours, sometimes 3 or 3.5 if we have a big morning of outdoor play.

@sslm: LO was a night owl for a long time too. Eventually she pushed back her own bedtime.

DD is almost seven months (!) and goes down at 7:10pm not 7:00, not 7:20. 7:10.... She's weird. Lately she's been waking up at 5:40. I much preferred her old 7:30 wake up. But it's better than a few weeks ago when she went through a six month regression waking to eat at three. She takes 2-3 naps for about 3 hours total.

Um...what the heck just happened to my baby?! She just woke up at 8:45 am (no, actually, WE woke her up because my left boob was the most engorged it's ever been). She went to bed at 8:30 last night, ate once at 5:45 and then went back to sleep until we woke her at 8:45. Weird.

At night he goes down between 8:30p and 9:00p and sleeps through until 4:00a or 5:00a. I nurse and he will usually fall back asleep until 7:00 or 7:30a. Naps are around 9:00a, 11:30a, 2:00p and 6:00p.

That being said, for some reason tonight he woke up at 2:00a! Nursed and getting my butt back in bed now!

22 months. Down at 9, up at 6. One or no wakeups, usually. If she wakes, my husband goes and snuggles her back to sleep, and either spends the rest of the night with her or comes back up after a while. She naps for two hours starting around 11.

Except of course when she has a chest cold and then she just wants daddy to snuggle her up all night. Very sweet, but I'm tired of sleeping alone. Also her bedtime swings wildly back and forth. For the past month it was 10-10:30 and then maybe she'd sleep until 7, on a really crazy day. She just isn't tired until she's tired - nothing can change it.

DS is just under a year old:

Bedtime between 9-9:30. Tonight it was closer to 10 because he was enjoying his bath and time with DH so much that I let him stay up.

We've had a couple of STTNs the past week, but usually he sleeps until around 5, wakes up and I nurse (I'M not willing to give it up yet), and occasionally again at 7. He gets up for the day between 10-10:30.

I am so jealous of everyone who has their LOs in bed by 7pm! Mine doesn't even show signs of being sleepy until 9:30-10pm! It's a great night when she will sleep by 10:30pm. She will wake up between 8-10am. She's 27 months old.

DS is 8 months old and his sleep is also all over the map. He used to be very consistent at going down by 7;30p, up at 11, then again at 4 to eat and fully awake around 7. Lately he's hitting a growth spurt and wakes up frequently to feed or toss around.

Every time I read about sleep I get depressed : ) DS is 12 weeks. He sleeps:
8-10, 11-1, 2-3:30, 4:30-5:30
I keep waiting for him to go longer stretches but it hasn't happened!!

DD is 14 weeks.

A couple weeks ago we moved her bedtime back from 9:30 to 7:45/8:00. She used to sleep solidly from 9:30 to 5:30 (she'd have a night waking once or twice per week).

Now:
8-12, 12:15-5:00, 5:15-7:30/8:00.

Can't complain since the night wakings are so brief now and she sleeps in later. Previously, on the nights she did wake up, she'd eat for so long that I'd be up for over an hour with her.
