She squeals with delight "daddy!" and if not in her highchair, she takes off running to greet him at the door. Sometimes, though, it is chaos with me frazzled, dinner barely planned/started, and LO crying. I'm afraid that's where we are headed tonight. I'm standing outside her door watching her pace &amp; cry in her crib instead of nap &amp; now it's too late to keep trying. Most of the time there is a box or plate of leftovers. Calm, dinner is being made and kids are playing nicely? ;)</p> <p>Half the time everything is fine when he gets home, but in those instances it was usually a battle of epic tantrums all day long. So of course it looks as if we had a day that ran perfectly smooth. Sometimes he comes into a disaster zone of cranky kids and I can't wait to get some help! </p>
