Sometimes he will say daddy or daddy *DH name*. Mine just calls me a diminutive version of my first name (Jenny, instead of Jennifer or Jen, for example).</p> <p>My husband's sister is getting married next month and my stepchild calls my future sister in law auntie x. I just think it is funny she gets more formality that I do. I don't mind at all, as my stepchild also calls my sister auntie. DH and I figured it is better this way because when we eventually have children, my sister won't be auntie to one and not the other. Although I have noticed birth mother cringe when she hears my stepchild call my sister auntie.</p> <p>sigh..... </p>
