@DillonLion: my LO does mostly "snack plates" like your LO, since we generally eat dinner once she goes to bed. If we eat together, she has what we have, plus some fruit.

Things I can always count on her to eat with no fight: mac and cheese, any type of pasta and pretty much any pasta sauce (pesto, red, butter, etc), fried shrimp or shrimp any style, cheese of any kind, green beans, peas, hummus with red pepper slices or crackers, applesauce, Caesar salad, fruit.

DD is 34m and eats what we eat 95% of the time.
Tonight was a g turkey bow tie cheesy casserole of sorts. She loves pasta and will eat ground turkey. For my daughter it's all about delivery. She won't eat a burger but will eat saute ground meat like in a stroganoff or casserole.
There was a phase where I would offer her dinner in a bowl instead of separated like we would on our plate. I found at that point that separating everything allowed her to pick and choose. Whereas if everything was in one bowl she couldn't pick.

I don't know if we did something right or got super lucky. :P I'm afraid #2 is going to be uber picky because #1 is a pretty good eater.

What we're having unless it's super spicy or there isn't enough (aka leftovers just for me), then she gets Mac and cheese or hot dogs. I'll admit to giving her a jar of PB and a spoon, too, LOL.

We have good success with meatballs and loaves and ground meat. Also sausage and bacon. Salty processed goodness, basically. Sometimes I slice up cheese, add yogurt and fruit....black beans.....corn and peas and those frozen chopped carrots. Boiled or fried eggs....

I serve him whatever we're eating; he doesn't always actually eat it, but tonight he did! He had a bean burrito with a bit of lettuce, tomato, sour cream, cheese, and onion.

He eats what we eat! He's almost 3. He doesn't always eat all of what we eat but there are usually a few options that he will eat. As in he will not eat vegetables but I serve them nightly.

LO is ending up with a ton of "snack plates" for dinner (ex. Tonight's Dinner: Green beans, yogurt, wheat crackers, grapes, cheese cubes)

She likes edamame so we do that frequently. We have a hard time with abimal proteins. She won't really eat chicken, fish, or red meat. She does like turkey sausage or anything in link form like that.

What is your toddler eating these days? I need some new dinner ideas for her. She eats immediately when we get home and usually won't touch what we are having.
