DD is pretty good these days...

DS - let's see...
- Putting him in the carseat
- Helping him with things (he wants to do it himself)
- Getting him to take a bath
- Getting him to eat
- Getting him to leave the house
- Getting him to wear socks
- Cutting his hair
- Cutting his nails
- Washing his face
- Putting him in the stroller
- Holding him (he always wants to walk)
- Holding his hand (he just wants to run off)
... and I'm sure there are more. These are just "a few" off the top of my head.

1. First diaper change of the day. Other times he's fine, but first thing in the morning he cries as soon as he hits the changing table and tries to roll over.

2. Inhalers. We have to give him 2 different inhalers twice a day, and as soon as I sit down with him he knows what's coming and cries :(. I usually have to hold his arms so he doesn't pull it away.

DD1 (34 months): eating, getting dressed in anything other than PJs, brushing teeth, flossing surprisingly is fine, putting lotion on, getting out of the bath, going home once we're out, clipping nails, going to bed.

DD2 (12 months): diaper changes, napping, getting in the car seat, changing clothes, clipping nails, taking medicine.

Well let's see.
1. We have given up on trying to teach him to brush his own teeth. He is almost 3 1/2 and we just do it for him or it's not happening and we do it while he's watching TV or it's not happening.
2. Getting in the bath every night and then getting out of the bath every night.
3. Getting him to try new foods is a daily struggle.
4. Sitting on the potty. We've given up on that one for a while.
5. Going to bed!!!!!We have to take him in our bed with us and all go to bed at the same time so he'll pass out!

Getting him from the daycare into the car. My IL's live right across the street from his daycare and he knows which house is theirs and he always says "Papa?" and then screams and wriggles because he wants to go see Papa & Nonna.

1. teeth brushing- it's so hit and miss. Somedays she LOVES it, most days she presses her lips together as I try and get the toothbrush in there.
2. bedtime - she does EVERYTHING possible to avoid laying down. Bathroom, needs a drink, wants another book, blanket is wrinkly, needs a different animal, ect. so frustrating!

teeth brushing is the most difficult. I cheat though and often let him look at pictures on my phone while i brush his teeth. I get it done in a minute that way, no fighting and i do a thorough job. i try to only use the phone on mornings when we are rushing to get out the door.

Lately it's falling asleep at night. Dude, you are in your jammies, laying in bed, with a sound machine and a belly full of milk -- WHY ARE YOU STRUGGLING???? CLOSE YOUR EYES!!!

It's been a rough couple of nights. At least once he falls asleep, he's usually asleep for the night.

Just, you know, normal things you do in day to day life.
For us, it is:
1. Teeth brushing. Some days we have to physically restrain her to brush them.
2. Getting pants on that aren't soft pants.
3. Brushing hair.
4. Taking a bath. Why must it end in tears every single time?
