They have a Lingua Franca class. Lately, I've been hearing "Mommy!! In the spring I want to start a dance class during the week (to take the place of a weekly "preschool co-op" playgroup that does not plan to continue) and gymnastics on Saturdays. He does an extracurricular yoga class on Mondays at school. Then we do gym class (My Gym) on Saturday mornings and music class on Sunday mornings. We have been doing a music class in the morning of one day off and a gymnastics class that afternoon too. I'm actually going to switch it up and do the music class with just LO2 for the next term, but I'll probably put both LOs in a weekly swim class, too. So they will both have 2 extras per week. We also sporadically attend a playgroup on the other day off.</p> <p>I need to sign up for things to get us out of the house, though! Both are offered at her preschool so she's familiar with the other students already. Unfortunately because it is at school, I have no idea how she is doing (or if she participates) but she tells me that she loves it! When I get a license the first thing I'm doing is signing her up for soccer. She has loved soccer since before she was 2 and is quite good at it coordination wise. We were doing swimming once a week, but unfortunately, the class was late in the evening and the water was FREEZING and she hated it. </p> <p>I'd like to enroll her in one other extracurricular - we've tried ballet before w/limited success (she was 3 years old and pretty young, I think she had a hard time following rules). I'm thinking soccer? Dance? </p> <p>What do your 3/4 year olds do outside of preschool/daycare? </p>
