<description>&#60;p&#62;I try so hard but do terribly when I try to cut out foods from my diet. I find I self-regulate better if I restrict the times I eat rather than what I eat--I eat three meals a day, on one plate, absolutely no snacks, and no going back for seconds. I also save the sweets for the weekends.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I also find the quality of my food is much better when I only use 3 plates a day. When I eat badly it tends to be all these little treats that add up, but they're terribly hard to justify when all staring at me from one plate.

<description>&#60;p&#62;Normally, I just eat &#34;clean&#34; and that helps tremendously because it means I naturally cut out the salt and sugar. Mainly grilled or steamed, no fried food or processed food, and limit carbs if I really want to lose weight fast.

modified paleo has worked really well for me. i'm only a few lbs away from pp weight and that's WITH the muscle i've built doing the shred :)&#60;/p&#62;

<description>&#60;p&#62;When I was really hardcore and eating lots of &#34;small meals&#34; a day, it looked like this:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Pre workout: Homemade protien bar&#60;br /&#62;
Post workout: Protein shake and whole grain crackers&#60;br /&#62;
Meal 1: 1 whole egg, 3 egg whites, 1 slice brown toast&#60;br /&#62;
Meal 2: 2 homemade turkey &#34;meatloaf muffins&#34;&#60;br /&#62;
Meal 3: Homemade turkey Chilli&#60;br /&#62;
Meal 4: 2 homemade turkey &#34;meatloaf muffins&#34;&#60;br /&#62;
Meal 5: Chicken/Fish/Top sirloin steak, vegetables and brown rice&#60;br /&#62;
Meal 6: Greek Yogurt and a tbsp of natural peanut butter before bed.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;This was when I was in the best shape of my life, as I was also going to the gym and lifting heavy 5 days a week. I found all the small meals just really hard to do though and I eventually burned myself out...&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I've read a lot recently that eating small meals doesn't actually do much for your metabolism as previously believed. It does help you not ever be hungry, but it's just so much work to eat that much lol!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Now I basically eat the same stuff, just bigger portions less times a day.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I am terrible at dieting, the only way I am successful is if I have set meal plans, so I know what I am eating every day, for every meal. My worst meal is lunch, I am super hungry and I need something filling!&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I also reverse my meals, I do a bigger breakfast, big lunch and a small dinner.  In this next attempt, I am planning on doing a smoothie for dinner.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I eat a lot of fish when I need to lose weight and I cut out as many simple carbs as possible.  I am super strict the first two weeks, then I slowly add things back in.

<description>&#60;p&#62;I started a diet today because I've gained some weight, and I'm really unhappy with the way I look in clothes lately.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;This is my general diet plan: &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Breakfast: green smoothie&#60;br /&#62;
Snack: boiled egg, avocado, or nuts&#60;br /&#62;
Lunch: salad w/ lean protein and something filling like quinoa&#60;br /&#62;
Dinner: lean protein w/ veggies&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I tend to lose weight best when I eat the same thing every day. The hard part is that I get so hungry after dinner since we eat early with the kids, and I'm up for another 6 hours.&#60;/p&#62;
