OITNB, Parenthood, The Affair. When I watch them I get really nostalgic for that period of time - which is weird because I had PPD and was actually quite miserable. But those shows remind me of when the apartment was all quiet and he would sleep next to me and eventually in his room and it was just really nice. Prob makes me sound really weird.<br /> Also looking at nurseries.<br /> Oddly, maternity clothes. I really enjoyed being pregnant.<br /> The first pic when my friends have their babies. That initial skin to skin pic. I never got skin to skin after he was born (went to nicu) so I yearn for that opportunity.</p> <p>ETA: oh as for what makes it go away - in the rare occasion my son wakes at night I'm like "nope. I like sttn way to much". Also just the ease of going out with him now - no diaper bags or bottles or car seats and now even stroller isn't necessary. For me being out with a newborn was extremely stressful. So when I travel with him or we even just go to dinner I'm like "yeah I'm good". </p> <p>Of course we're doing another round of IVF now so I guess whether I have baby fever or not doesn't matter. I love watching his personality develop, and it is so much fun to watch him learn. And I can negotiate with him to a certain extent. And he can tell me what is bothering him. It is so much easier, omg!</p> <p>I love being a parent now, and I miss my son during the day when I am at work. I hate when they fight and give major attitude.
