I kept a separate gallon Ziploc bag with a clean zipper sleeper PJ with built in mitts, a hat, and a washcloth. The amount of each depended upon how long I was out. Both my boys spit up a lot so I always carried lots of outfits and burp cloths. As a newborn, bibs were out.
