All of them!!
My biggest pet peeve is personally when people say, "I got it at Nordstrom's," or "We went to Pike's Place Market." It's Nordstrom and Pike Place Market.
I got flagged on WB once for grammar-correcting some sad post... But seriously- you couldn't even read the poor girl's post, because she had her your/you're and their/there/they're so hopelessly messed up. I thought I was doing her a favor, but apparently someone thought it was "mean". Ha!

Is there an option for "all of them"? I was a writing tutor all four years of college and saw some nightmarish errors. I've built up a tolerance and try not to correct people, but I still get this sickening little rush inside my head when I see one.

Threads like this make me so happy. I've gotten so used to people screwing up you're/your I'm immune to it now and have moved on to being unbelievably annoyed that people add " 's" to pluralize EVERYTHING!!!! Seriously?! And thank you for "all intensive purposes". OMG it makes my eyes bleed.

@Lozza: I've never seen "doggy dog" - so funny! Forums are definitely the best place to find mistakes. The two you mention remind me of song lyric mistakes. My sister used to think the line "Ooh rub my smooth skin" in Baby Got Back was "Ooh Rumplestiltskin."

@Lozza: "Hammy downs?" Stop. People actually say that?! ETA: I've heard people say something's a "mute" point, rather than "moot."

I thought of another thing, though this seems to be more of a Central PA thing than anything else. I grew up there but somehow avoided falling into the habit of doing it. People say things like, "I'm done my homework." NO! You are done WITH your homework! And, "I'm going to mow lawn." NO! You are going to mow THE lawn! They also don't use the infinitive. They'll say, "The house needs swept" rather than "The house needs TO BE swept." Oh my gosh, it makes me crazy! I know in my previous post I said that cultural things don't get to me so much, but those actually do because they are so blatantly incorrect!

I need to show this to my H.S. students. It might make them realize the importance.

I will add though that some of these are very hard for English learners to get.

You've all seen The Oatmeal grammar graphics, right? I actually show them to my students too even though they're a bit adult. : )

There are so many good ones on here already. I'll just add:

Real/really- "It's real pretty," etc., makes me want to claw my ears off.

That/which used interchangeably and without proper punctuation.

Last, the insane overuse of commas. I love commas when used appropriately, but I swear people use them without rhyme or reason.

@Ash: The apostrophe makes me stabby. We got SEVERAL Christmas cards this year that said (for example), "Merry Christmas from the Smith's." NO!

Pretty much all grammatical errors make me crazy. Grammatical and pronunciation errors. UGH. On Veterans Day, a local furniture store had a commercial on about their "Vetrans" Day sale - I wanted to throw something at the tv! I'm fine with things like "ay-pricot" vs. "ah-pricot," because that's cultural/regional, but when you're blatantly mispronouncing a word like that....BANANAS!!!!!
