@SorryCharlie: I don't know if it's on its way . . . but I haven't felt like it is.

@RachieCakes: It feels just like that . . . like I am trying to be 100% everything and coming up short. Maybe I can ask my LC for some help, too. I feel like I also have a little PPD, and am terrified to wean now for fear that my hormones will wreak havoc.

@SoccerMama @BabyBoecksMom: Thanks for the encouragement. :) I am going to do everything I can to make it to 6 months (LO just hit 5 months).

I have a very stressful job too. Some days my supply takes a hit. I remind myself that fluctuations are normal and I try not to stress.

When my supply dips, I drink crazy amounts of water, eat oatmeal, and trying not to stress so much. I keep reminding myself that I'm doing the best I can do and that is all I can do. The more I can relax the easier it is to pump. Easier said than done, but it really works!

@MsLipGloss: I had the same thing happen. Stress at work really killed my supply. I had to start taking More Milk Plus in order to get it back, as well as really try to relax each time I pumped and wait for a 2nd let down each pumping session. After a month of doing all that, I had an oversupply.

I went through the same thing, and I let is stress me out (especially since LO was starting to increase the oz. she ate), but I tried (as much as possible) not to stress-as it can affect your supply. I also read that being cold (I live in Wisconsin) can negatively affect your supply, so I made sure to wear an extra sweater while at work to stay warm.
I started eating more oatmeal, protein, taking fenugreek (3 cap. 3x per day) and drinking mother’s milk tea. This seemed to really help my supply and bump it back up to where I feel like I'm not falling behind am I feel confident in keeping up with LO.
Hang in there-you’re doing great!! It may take a few days or a week to get it back up, but have confidence in your body!

@MsLipGloss: same thing happened to me! :( I think for me it was the stress of trying to be 100% employee, 100% mom, it's so hard
I did get a prescription for domperidone from my LC and it brought my supply back even better than before! None of the other tricks worked for me.
ETA I didn't get AF until 9 months PP

@MsLipGloss: I had same issue. I ended up giving up pumping because the stress of not pumping enough plus work stress was too much for me.

Are you stressed? My work stress level went skyhigh and I had to give up pumping because I wasn't producing enough milk.

I personally have days when I dont get as much, but I try not to worry about it because stress also affects suppy. I drink an extra glass of milk and eat more oatmeal and take my prenatal vitamin and usually it all balances out by the end of the week.

So, I usually pump 2-3 times a day at work, and my *best* pump is usually the first one of the day. Today, however, I am staring down at 2 bottles that barely have an ounce each in them. WTH happened? I am super hydrated, I ate this morning . . . I don't know what I did?!

I never thought pumping could be stressful . . . but I get worried when I don't pump enough to cover at least 2 full feeds for LO. :(
