After we broke up he dated my best friend, which still didn't hurt our friendship. But then he dated another girl and all of a sudden he never talked to me, which was hard because our families are BFF's and always travel and do holidays together. But luckily she's out of the picture now and we're very friendly with his wife, and they have a baby a little older then LO so it's fun to get together with them. Absolutely no problems, we just get along well. We were broken up and on the path of friendship before he met and married his wife. The problem is that his wife hates my guts because she doesn't believe ex's can be friends and has forbidden him to have any contact with me. Once in a while we'll exchange a "hey, how are you, how's the baby" email but nothing more because of his wife. But one friendship ended very badly in high school when I said I wouldn't sleep with him. He would pass me in the hall way and call me all sorts of names that I'm not going to repeat here. And then I dated his brother.... not my best decision. </p> <p>I have another friend who unfriended me on facebook when I told him that we should just be friends. I hadn't seen him in 10 years and when he saw that I broke up with my boyfriend he said he wanted to move here, which obviously freaked me out since we didn't even know each other as adults, but I did like him.
