I successfully breastfed my first DD for 16 months. My boobs were horribly sore during the first trimester (especially while nursing!). During the second trimester, the pain went away but I swear, my nips are constantly standing at attention. So so annoying. Now, in my third trimester they are definitely bigger and they look very ready to breastfeed again. Like @avivoca: my aeroela are giant and much darker than normal. I think I went up a cup size (I was borderline DD/E and I guess I just def went to E) but I stopped wearing real bras so I don't really know either times. Didn't have much sensation either way... Just darkening and expanding of the areola. Once I lost (most of) the baby weight with DD1 I went down to a D cup and stayed there- now I'm back up to a DD/ DDD. I hope to get back to the weight I was pre babies and that my boobs a will shrink back to a C cup or smaller. I'm currently 18 weeks. I started out a d and went up to a ddd by about 13 weeks with lots of tenderness in the last few weeks of the first tri. Arreolas got big too. I breastfed dd to 22 months and my boobs decreased slowly from ddd to d (my normal pre-baby size) and got noticeably less full/round :( I keep being surprised at how full/round they are again wahoo! Well until new baby and nursung stretch them out ha! (Band size went down to normal but cup size grew another two sizes while nursing) Lots of tenderness from the very beginning. I also started leaking colostrum around 20 weeks, started as just a little but by 30 weeks I was changing breast pads multiple times a day. </p> <p>When DD was born I pumped over 50oz in the four days she was at the hospital. We are still nursing at just over 2, never supplemented. They were definitely more sensitive. I went up a band size due to my rib cage spreading, and maybe half a cup size while pregnant, but not much. While nursing, I am solidly a c, whereas I am usually bordering between b and c. I've been lucky to have a very successful breastfeeding relationship with my daughter.
