MSPI. My son screamed for 12 - 15 hours every day for the first 3 weeks of life (it went down slightly after that). Nothing we did would help. I wouldn't say we had it beat until after he was 6 months old (and we are still off dairy and soy).

Second to that but connected was about 3 months ago when our gastro wanted us to trial cheese. Who would have thought the scariest thing I would do as a parent is eat cheese.

There was a strecth of a couple weeks after we had DS and after DH went back to work that was just really overwhelming for me. DD wasn't quite 2, and DS was 6-8 weeks. I had like a breakdown a day, lol. Once we got into a good routine, though thinhgs got much, much better.

So far, it's been interactions with other children. Sometimes my son is the aggressive one and takes back his toys, other times he gets bullied by the older kids. It's tough, I want to hang back and just let them work it out, but I worry about the reactions from other moms, you just never know.

COLIC. Ho-lee hell, that was AWFUL. It started at like 3 weeks and lasted until she was 10 weeks. 5 nights a week of SCREAMING inconcolably from 7-10pm. Luckily the gals on weddingbee (this was before HB days) taught me about the 5 S's, which was the ONLY thing to work. I still cringe when I think back to that.

First would be reflux. She had reflux when she was little and we didn't know it. So she'd scream for hours with no soothing. It was awful!

Then it would be naps. Until 8 months she wouldn't sleep in her crib, so I would have to either put her in her swing, stroller, carseat, etc. to get her to nap. Getting her to nap was pretty tiring for me. Now, at 12 months, she's a great napper though.

My lo is only 9 weeks, and quite honestly before this week, things were going pretty great despite the fact that we're moving to a new city, wrapping up the sale of our condo, etc.

Until lo got her 2 month vaccinations on monday. Monday she slept allll day and i thought we were in the clear, but then tuesday rolled around and she was incredibly fussy. Wouldnt nap, would scream if i put her down (i ended up holding her all day and all evening), and woke up several times in the middle of the night. Yesterday wasnt quite as bad but i still had to hold her almost all day. Im hoping we turn a corner today.

How about you? Toughest parenting experience/moment?
