I had to designate a drawer in our kitchen for my son's stuff. He's got a tupperware filled with a Green Toys pizza set, an empty water bottle with no top, a cardboard tube from papertowels, a pasta box, a cardboard "can" with plastic lid, wooden spoons and some old bottles of his with lids, because he likes to put the lid on and take it off.

She hasn't played with any of our household items yet. When she starts moving around and reaching for them, I'll probably give them to her.

Although I've heard not to let them play with things like pots and pans because then they'll see them on the stove, think they're a toy, and reach for them.

We let her play with water bottles, paper grocery bags, large spoons and our Tervis tumblers. :)
