Charlie has been asking me to nurse lately which is why he was so interested. He didn't start asking until pretty recently, and now regularly asks when he sees me nursing olive. (No I do not nurse him)

Lol! I was only able to nurse DD for 3 months, so she doesn't remember nursing anymore.

A related story though: One time I was changing her into her PJs after a bath. I was in a towel b/c I had just come out of the bath too. My nipple popped out from under the towel, and DD reached up, grabbed my nipple, and squeezed it as hard as she could. She was just interested in grabbing it, like she grabs everything else, but man did it hurt!

One of our nurse educators told dads to be careful when doing skin to skin right after delivery. She said that you want the baby close to your heart but not so close that they want to try to nurse.

I just read this to DH and he said Howard Stern was just talking about this, except that he let his kid do it on purpose. I guess he wanted to know what it felt like. I guess you are not curious enough about it! :-D

This morning, I had my shirt off and was holding Charlie in my arms and joked to him that he was "my baby." He got a big smile on his face and was really happy! Then he tried to nurse from me!!

I almost dropped him on the floor in surprise! For the record, there was no mouth-on-daddy contact. It was pretty darn close though! Charlie thought it was hilarious.

I don't have a question to end this thread on. More like a warning: keep your shirt on when you're holding your toddlers in your arms!
