OMG! </p> <p>I was at the late night chemist (pharmacy) last night getting some medicine for my poorly baby, after a trip to the out of hours doctor. There was a girl in there on the phone, talking so loudly you couldn't help but hear every word. She said she had been at work that day, so she wasn't really young - Id put her at about 21 maybe? </p> <p>She was telling her mum the story of her visit, that evening, to the emergency doctor. After she had told the story, she called up her friend and told it again so any detail we had missed (managed to block out) the first time was repeated for us to hear. </p> <p>She said she had decided to shave *down there* because, I quote, "I have a boyfriend now" and had cut herself. Over the next 24 hrs, the bleeding got worse and worse and she became worried she had really damaged herself so she went to the emergency doctor to be checked out. The doctor examined her and told her that she had in fact come on her period! Oh dear Lord....! </p> <p>I don't know what's worse - the fact she went to the doctor because AF came or that fact she shared this story so loudly in the chemist for me and DH to hear twice over!! "I shaved because I have a boyfriend now" AGH! MY EARS!! </p>
