Credit cards really helped me bridge the gap between college and my first job, and then after that I just stopped using them completely.</p> <p>I had a ton of student loans, but the interest rate on those was actually surprisingly low. I have yet to buy a house though, so no mortgage interest rates to report.</p> <p>What interest rate do you pay on your debt? </p>
