@prettylizy: thanks! Yup I was also thinking any sauces that are cream based. Good call on the salad dressing. Forgot about that one.

I'm cutting out the very obvious soy stuff for now.

I cut out all hidden dairy, and the obvious things (milk, cheese etc). Any breads or baked good done with milk in them, soups, salad dressings the whole nine yards. I've also cut soy protein for now and will try reintroducing it in a few weeks.

I eat a lot of fresh food now, and pb & j on a dairy free pita is a huge staple now.

For those of you that were/are on a milk protein elimination diet. What did you cut?

I'm almost convinced my LO has an allergy so I'm going to try it for 2-3 weeks and see what happens. I've already been cutting the obvious like milk and only occasionally eggs and some ice cream.

On my list:
Milk
Cream
Yogurt
Butter
Cheese
Sour cream
Soy
Casein
Whey
Pudding
and this list from http://www.kellymom.com/store/freehandouts/hidden-dairy01.pdf

Did you cut things like pastries, cookies, etc as well?

Besides taking calcium supplements how are you satisfying your daily calcium intake needs?
