My girl has been picky lately and dinner is hit or miss. She ate all of her dinner tonight which was basmati rice with corn and mushrooms sauteed in sesame oil with a little chicken sausage. Last night was bowtie pasta w/ sausage and peppers and the night before that was black bean tacos.

@locavore_mama: haha, not this time. Short ribs were from Sam's club and I used this recipe: http://www.maangchi.com/recipe/galbijjim I used the slow cooker for the braising portion. Turned out pretty good!

@lemondrop: bahahaha. funny story. My nephews LOVE ketchup; they literally put it on everything. The time before last when they stayed with us they went home and starting putting ketchup on their rice. My SIL called them out on it and they said "it's OK, Uncle J does it too". hahahaha DH does NOT put ketchup on his rice!

LO's age: almost 21 months
Work Status: hybrid of the 3 depending on the day, WAH today.
Tonight's Dinner: Ketchup.
Comments: Dinner was really purple cabbage salad, cannelloni beans, and mixed steamed veggies... but he wasn't having it. So my husband coated it in ketchup, which he selectively licked off of everything. Sigh. We topped it off with applesauce later on since we couldn't exactly let him starve.

LO's age: 15 months
Work Status: I WAH, DH WOH and worked late tonight
Tonight's Dinner: white fish (hake) with lemon and dill, roasted mushrooms, carrots, pearl onions and green beans with butter, cheese and blueberries.
Comments: LO had 3 shots today :'( !!! and didn't want to eat her fish, so I gave her ketchup for it. She scooped up/ate the ketchup with her fork, and ate everything but the fish (which she usually loves) with her fork, so I'm counting tonight as a win. Poor bubba, 3 nasty old shots :(

p.s. She also ate a whole Trader Joe's Mango Greek Yogurt after dinner.
