For the most part, we would just pack her some leftovers from what we had at dinner or give her a part of our lunch. We would throw in a pouch or a favorite snack to change it up sometimes.

My child lives on meatballs, cheese, fruit of all varieties, avocados, eggs and carbs (toast, crackers, etc.) At daycare he eats yogurt, cereal or french toast for breakfast and they feed him lunch - which is anything from sun butter and jelly sandwiches to beef and broccoli or chicken fried rice (its a Chinese daycare, lucky him!). They have pizza on Fridays.

He seems super picky lately and will no longer eat fish, quinoa, chicken or really any vegetables. Its super annoying :bummed:

we have a nanny but typically he eats a combo of the following, sort of bento box style. Lots of leftovers from dinners (pastas, stew parts, taco meat, leftover pizza) and also stuff like avocado hunks, deli meat, string cheese, veggies (cherry tomato, cucumber slices, pickles, cooked carrots, green beans, broccoli). Fruit and yogurt is reserved for snacks because if he is offered it, that's all he will eat! He doesn't really do pouches anymore.

Usually leftovers, pbj, meat/cheese roll ups, drained veggie soup. Then I do a fruit or a veggie, a string cheese, yogurt and a fun snack (cheddar bunnies, yogurt raisins, etc.)

I just finished getting her food ready for tomorrow. For lunch she will probably have the chicken, grapes, tomatoes, and strawberries.
Sometimes I'll heat up frozen meatballs or turkey meatballs (get them from trader joes) and give those as the protein. Mac and cheese is her favorite, so we do that a lot.

Following! DD is 11 months and starting to refuse purees/pouches, cause they're just not cool anymore...

We do any of the following, cut into pieces: pancakes, chicken sausage, green beans, ravioli/tortellini, cheese, mandarin oranges, orzo (with parmesan and basil...leftover so it clumps a bit. Easier to pick up). I'm also going to try: healthy muffins, chickpeas, sweet potato fries, strawberries, avocado, quesadillas.

We do a lot of deconstructed meals so beans, cut up cherry tomatoes/cucumbers/fruits, cut up cheese sticks, hummus and pita, sunflower seed butter and jelly sandwiches, and she loves the frozen mixed veggies (corn, peas, carrots and green beans) so I'll cook a big batch of those and out those in her lunch.

I've also offered leftover Mac and cheese, sweet potatoes, mini waffles and cut up tofu hot dogs but those got rejected because our daughter is a weirdo. Aren't kids supposed to love those things?

What do you pack your 1yr old for lunch at day care!
I feel like she eats the same stuff!
Either ham/cheese wrap pieces and a veggie pouch
Or black bean/veggie burger pieces with pasta or a veggie pouch

We need ideas!
