I wish my LO watched tv! It would be sooooo nice for her to sit still for a little bit so I can relax when I have a migraine.

I give my LO things off the floor that I know she'll put in her mouth.

I started letting LO watch TV when she stopped napping at 15 months so that was too early according to the "rule". But that is only on Sat/Sun so it is not a lot. But now she is 2 so I don't feel bad about half an hour of TV here and there. :-)

that the soother is only for bedtime. If she gets cranky or sick...or if I get too tired to chase her down and pop it out of her mouth. We've been doing better lately though, it was out aaaall the time when I was pregnant.

I think ours is letting Charlie watch too much tv. It's tough when he's been waking up at 5:30am, we have had very little childcare over the past month+, lots and lots of sickness, we're trying to get work done while watching the kids, and we're just tired.

What parenting rule do you always break?
