I got a negative FRER at 10 dpo and only got a faint positive the day my period was due. Test if you want to, but if you get a negative test again.

@birdofafeather: started at 8 dpo, all negatives, even today at 12 dpo, so I'm counting myself out. Either I didn't actually ovulate, or this is the longest unmedicated luteal phase I've ever had. I'm a little disappointed, but mostly ok since my youngest is only 10 months.

Cheapie? 7 or 8 dpo. But. FRER?! $$$$ haha. 10 dpo (or earlier if I see something on a wondfo)

Fwiw, I got a shadow of a positive on a wondfo at 8 dpo and it was def positive at 9 dpo--but my FRER wasn't positive until 10 dpo! And even then, the wondfo was much clearer than the FRER (I even got a pos on a ClearBlue digit at 10 dpo...when my FRER was so so so faint) Kind of made me lose faith in the FRERs! (But yes, I'm sure I'll still buy them :silly: )

I would also test with a wondfo to put my mind at ease, and not use the frer until 9 or 10, unless there was something questionable on the cheapie before that. I also saved my FMU after the wondfo so if it was questionable I could dip another test (so I didn't save it long! Just for the tests :silly: )

Good luck!

@bhbee: I always have a hard time with wondfos, I feel like the line for me is so light, even when I have a clear positive with a FRER :/ they are good for getting my poas fix though lol

I START testing early at like 6/7dpo which I know is impossible but I do it anyway. But at 8dpo I test with the possibility of seeing something (I've always had a faint bfp by 8dpo, I'm an early implanter/high hcg - all 5 pregnancies!)
I know I'm not the norm but if I was still bfn at 9 dpo Id consider myself out.

I think wondfos are not bad for testing early but just not as clear. I got a 9dpo bfp last time on a wondfo. I voted 9 above but I wouldn't use a frer that day unless I saw something real on a wondfo first. Good luck!!

I've always used cheapies early and then confirmed at 10+ dpo with FRER because they're expensive and I didn't want to risk it not showing a positive.

Just as the post says lol. I generally have a luteal phase defect, and start spotting very shortly after ovulation. I got a positive ovulation test a week ago, and haven't started spotting or bleeding yet. Tomorrow will be 7 dpo, which I know is crazy early, but I'm so impatient LOL. With my first three, I got positives at 11, 12, and 9 dpo.
I think tomorrow is still too early, but maybe 8 dpo would be ok? Thoughts?
