Personally I think it will make things worse because at least getting those kids in school can help them catch up, buy I think some people think that taking the developmental aspect off the table will help? My brother was older than his classmates (he was Dec, back then, the cut-off was Dec 31) and my Dad was younger (also a Dec) so I've seen the affects of both. I figure it may be easier to test her into kindergarten "early" if need be, as opposed to having to keep her back later.
