LO takes room temp milk or we pop it in our bottle warmer. We use ours every day, super easy!

Never use the microwave for either. All you need is to set the bottle in some warm water for a few minutes--even frozen breast milk defrosts quickly this way. Honestly, we didn't warm ours much, just enough to mix the cream of the breast milk into the rest of it, and baby was fine with it and never expected anything else, because we never got her used to only taking warm milk.

We got a bottle warmer for maybe $15? It's the easiest thing, we just pull the bottle from the fridge, pop it in the warmer, change his diaper, and when we finish the diaper change, his bottle is warmed.

If the bottle is just cold, I put it in a mug of water that I've microwaved...

However, if I want to heat a frozen bottle, I use two mugs. I put the bottle in a mug of hot water for a min while I microwave the other mug. Then I switch. I do this because I found that the frozen bottle cools the hot water pretty quickly and it doesn't defrost quickly enough. If I use two mugs, it only takes 4-5 min to warm up a frozen bottle.

We have a hot water boiler and it heats the water up to 195F. We usually drop the bottle in a jar of hot water from the hot water boiler.

I pump into bottles and they go into a bottle warmer. She will also take room temp milk so I either drop a bottle in warm water or use formula depending on where we are (I don't usually drag a cooler with milk wheh I go out)

I used to have a big measuring mug (like a wide, 3 cup one) and I left water in there at all times so I wasn't fillin it all the time and wasting water. I'd stick that in the microwave for 1 min and warm his bottles that way.
This is also to be done for formula! Putting formula in the microwave can create hot spots.
If you are using playtex drop ins: warm your water less, unless you want to have a scorching hot bottle!

we used warm water from the faucet. then as the oz increased we heated water in a mug in the microwave. we had been given a bottle warmer and one day we were like why do we not use this. well we use it now and its the best. its the fastest and easiest.

when out and about we find a coffee place and ask for a thing of hot water. sometimes i warm the bottles [i have twins] at home then pack them and they're still ok when i give them to the girls.

we just stick the bottle in a mug of hot water from the sink and swirl it around. we just warm it enough to take the edge off. I heard it's not safe to warm in the microwave because sometimes you can get hot spots because the milk won't heat evenly.

I do the exact same thing as @coacheswife123. I just warm it in a bowl of warm water. I store the milk in storage bags, so it warms really quickly. Once it's warm I transfer it into a bottle.

we keep a big pyrex measuring cup in the bathroom right by the kitchen/bedroom and we stick the bottle in the cup and let hot tap water run over it for a while and then let it sit for a while until warmish. our tap water is really hot and the boiler is really close, so we don't waste too much water.

for LO#2 i want to get a hot water heater (the kind that keeps the water hot all day) so i can just dispense hot water into the pyrex straight up! :)

I planned on buying a bottle warmer but numerous people told me they never used theirs and just used the microwave. I always heard the microwave was ok for formula, but could curdle breast milk. Is that true?

How do you heat up breast milk? Also, what if you're out on the town? Do you just defrost in the fridge ahead of time and then serve at room temp? Or in that case do you just breast feed or use formula?
