I got my first positive OPK yesterday at CD33. That's definitely my longest by far, normal for me is 33 days. Normal cycles can actually be up to 35 days. My "regular" cycle was about 35 days... then I got one that was 42 days. Then the one after was 86 days!!! After that, I did go back down to around 31 or 32 days before I got my BFP.</p> <p>Temping can definitely help. If no one's recommended it to you before, look into reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility. I've heard it's normal to have a long cycle at least once a year, so don't be concerned. I'm currently on Day 43 and my cycles have been similar lengths as yours. OPKs showed I was gearing up to go while flying to the South Island for a weekend so I didn't bother doing anything more... Stupid me! The weekend was unexpectedly stressful and so was the week after it so now I'm wondering whether I have had delayed O. Had some symptoms on 1st of Dec so we BD then and have BD with some regularity since but if we get knocked up this cycle it will be a Christmas miracle!!<br /> If AF hasn't arrived I plan on POAS next Saturday. Before this, I averaged 34 day cycles and usually ovulate around day 18-19. I do tend to have longer cycles (29, 32, 39, 33, 33 - since i came off BCP). I charted last 2 cycles, and this cycle (stupid me) i decided to not chart - then I only started temping a couple days ago because I was so frustrated with all the negatives I was getting on my OPK. I'm getting real impatient, I seem to be getting patches of EWCM and not O'ing - I don't take any medications, I have no known diagnosis (no PCOS or anything of the sort) - could i develop PCOS all of a sudden?? </p>
