I've left to run errands on the weekends, DH and I have gone on a lunch date, and there were two weekends where I was sick, but wasn't really around DS. The weekend before last I slept from 8pm Sat to 6:30 Mon, and then didn't touch or hold DS until Wed since I thought I had the flu. This weekend will be the second time ever-- for our spa weekend... we're going for 2 nights, but the first night we're leaving after he goes to bed, so it's really just 1.5 full days and 1 night. She was already 2.5 yo at the time. When LO was about 2 months old, she was very colicky and at one point, I hadn't slept in about 1.5 days. The hubs sent me to my parents house to sleep for the night. I reluctantly went but was back home in the morning before LO was up.
