The parents were separated but living in the same house (and didn't tell me when I interviewed for the job...). They would be passive aggressive with each other and me, and I would get contradictory directions from them. The hours were horrible (6am-9am M-F). The kids had emotional problems (probably from all the tension in the house!). They were so gross, pee in beds, dirty diapers on tables and counters, caked on food everywhere. Gah, it was nasty. They had a house that was a recently new build, and outside of the home you would never know because they dressed and were groomed well. The servers either complained that I didn't give them enough tables or too many. And I had to fry the frozen chips before I could go home every night.
