Building toys are always good for that age. E is 3.5 this Christmas and we're looking at some lego junior sets for him. My BIL got him a real lego set last month and E was able to sit and help DH assemble it. He helped and was interested the whole time. His parents are pretty minimalist and they aren't a fan of a lot of plastic. I don't really know what he is interested in. They don't watch TV and he's not involved in any outside activities (other than preschool) that I know of. </p> <p>I'm curious what you are getting the 4 year old boys in your lives this year.
