B had a tongue and lip tie and his mouth was so small compared to my ginormous boobs. Nursing didn't work for us at all. </p> <p>Then, right when I was about to give up, he became interested in watching me pump. He started smacking his lips so on a whim I put him on the boob and he latched. It was so bizarre. </p> <p>A month is a good run! I always tell DH the BFing during those first couple months was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life. I let it consume me and lost out on a lot of time with DS because of it. After that my goals would be 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 6 months, and a year.
