We occasionally throw in a condom if we can't handle to abstain during fertile times. Will rely on lactational amenorrhea postpartum as long as we meet the criteria. I did not do well on the pill. And I got lots of BV infections. Haven't had one since I went off of the pill years ago. We usually use pull out and so far (6 years together) it has worked. </p>
