My brother almost died from spinal meningitis and about three weeks later my sister was born (can you IMAGINE thinking you were going to lose your oldest when you are 9 months pregnant with your last? I don't know how my mom did it!). So I distinctly remember waiting in a waiting room at the hospital with my very pregnant mother. I was being silly or just playing and my Mom telling me to sit still and be calm. I then had a purple barney themed party. I was OBSESSED with Barney.
