The playground by our house! My son asks to go at least twice every weekend and the best part is we can walk!

We live right next to an elementary school that has a pretty nice playground and track. We love taking DS and our dogs there at night to play! Panera is also one of our tried and true happy places to eat as a family! Yummm.

The zoo! We spent soooooo many mornings at the zoo this summer and fall! ToddlerDD loves the zoo. I fear, though, that with the weather getting really cold soon we'll be spending less time there. But it's our happy place.

Our happy places are each of our parent's farms. LO loves being outside and so do we. The fresh air, the quiet, it's perfect for a kiddo to run and explore.

Second is the nature park by our house, we drive around or walk around if it's nice to look at the animals, or play on the swings, go for a hike. It's beautiful.

We love to find a patch of grass... any patch of grass!!... and just hang out. The kids love finding sticks and rocks and just running around. I so wish we had a yard!! We have to pack everyone up and find a park every time we want to hang out outdoors.

Also, on the weekends when we want to eat out, we always try to go somewhere new or yummy and it ends up being a fail. Wrangling two active kids is just too much. So we've found three happy places where eating out ends up being a POSITIVE experience. IHOP, Panera, and Ikea!!
