The itty bitty newborn phase was stressful for me. He is really cute right now - giggles, smiles at everything, squeals, rolls, sits, and gets very excited about pretty much everything, especially "practice walking". He used to smile at everyone but at 14 mo has become a moody toddler. For DD, I would say 18 mo was perfect. As a pre-schooler now she has gotten bossy and opionated! If you had asked me a few years ago I would have said I was dying for them to grow up.
